Dear sir/madam,
My name is harish from Kurnool ,Andhra Pradesh holding a spirulina production farm.I am willing to take FSSAI license for my product "Spirulina" which comes under nutraceuticals mentioned under Gazette notification (06_01_2017) which is also attached for reference.I have applied under state licensing as my production is less than 2 Mt/ton per day.The officer is not aware if he have authority to issue licence for manufacturing spirulina.I request you kindly clarify if state authority has right to issue Fssai certificate for spirulina manufacturing which comes under nutraceuticals .
The product "SPIRULINA" I have applied under food processing unit ,sub categorised to
I Request you kindly reply with clarification that state authority can issue me fssai license ,so that i can show it to the concern officer.
In other states the certifications has been issued to the manufactures normally , I have attached certificate copies from tamil nadu and Karnataka ..since the officers here in Andhra Pradesh are not aware of it kindly provide the clarification.
